This is such a wonderful post. I know there are so many things I need to be thankful and grateful for . It is so important to be happier with what you have than to be unhappy about that which you do not have. ..I realized there are people out there who don't have their five senses, and to have mine is a gift ..

Another tip is, don't start bargaining unless you are 100% sure you like the quality of the product. Once the merchant agrees with a price you offer, you can't back out. That's just impolite.

Great photos!
I have also shot some really great ones on my spring trip to London (not with a phone though).
If anyone is interested, you can find them (along with some useful tips) on my blog. Look under the label London in the right column.

Here's another tip.
In some countries a foreigner is forced to bargain for literary everything. Even the simplest things, like for instance a bunch of bananas. If you are not sure about a price of a cheap item like that there is a simple tip that works almost every time...
If you are pretty sure a bunch of bananas should cost somewhere between 1 and 5 units but you are not sure how much exactly, you should do this: look confident (like you know exactly what you are doing) and give a note for 5 units. Then you have to look like you are waiting for change...
In most cases the person selling fruit won't know exactly what to do at that point and you should get a reasonable amount of money back... It depends though on how confident you look. ;-)
